The constituents of essential oil isolated by hydro-distillation of Citrus limetta peel from Bharatpur, Rajasthan was examined by Gas chromatography and Mass spectroscopy. A total 28 components were identified out of 100 % of total essential oil. The most abundant were D-Limonene (88.01%), Myrcene (3.35%), and Linalool (1.07%). Most of the identified compounds are biologically and traditionally important.
